I believe that dedication to a musical instrument is one of the most life enriching gifts we can give ourselves. I expect my students to have a desire to learn and enjoy the piano. I focus on technical and musical development as well as music theory and improvisation--all the while discovering how to make this instrument fun. 

 

My students are required to come prepared to lessons with the practice work I assign in their practice notebook. During lessons, my students and I discover together how to best shape the music learning process. At the end of every year students are required to play in a studio recital.

I like to communicate with the parent/guardian after each lesson to encourage accountability during at-home practice. I am open to discussing how to best teach to your child's abilities.

Lesson cancellation will result in a refund or reschedule as long as I know about it more than 24 hours in advance.
